Description of Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride(U PVC) conduits for Underground Telecommunication Cable
The UPVC pipes used for electrical and telecommunication conduits have different colors.
Orange: Electrical conduits installed under ground
Grey: Electrical conduits installed above ground
White: Data and telecommunications conduits
PVC-U electrical cable ducts are intended for durable underground installation using conventional open cut trench methods, to identify and protect contained underground electrical cables. Coloured orange, they are available in 6m socketed lengths and nominal diameters ranging from 32mm to 150mm.
We also provide a wide variety of duct bends made out of PVC-U and are available in all major diameters, lengths and radii, and the couplers, saddles, ends fittings are available for choice.
The U PVC pipes used for electrical conduit includes light duty, medium duty and heavy duty, available in the length 4m/length or 6m/ length, with the socket end. Heavy duty conduit offers a higher impact and compression resistance when compared medium duty electrical conduit and light duty conduit.
Advantages of Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride(U PVC) conduits for Underground Telecommunication Cable
1.Strong resistance to stress. The high-resistance heavy-duty conduit series and the high-impact medium-duty conduit series can withstand strong pressure, so it can be applied in concrete, not afraid of cracking under pressure.
2.Corrosion-resistant and insect-resistant. PVC pipe has excellent acid and alkali resistance. At the same time, because the PVC pipe does not contain plasticizer, it is free of pests and rodents.
3.Good flame retardant performance. Avoid the spread of fire along the pipeline; in case of fire, it can effectively protect the line for a long time, ensure the operation of the electrical control system, and facilitate the evacuation of personnel.
4.Strong insulation performance. Can withstand high voltage without being broken down, effectively avoiding metal and electric shock hazards.
5.Not easy to age. Stabilizers are added to improve the stability to heat and light.
6.Light weight, easy transportation and construction, and low cost.
7.The seismic resistance and anti-uneven settlement is good, no need to encapsulate and pour concrete on the construction site.
